Updated 3 / 22: The phone hangs and does not work, it seems, the VoIP number of your ad sounds, but the handset will remain there in silence. . . we are unable to use these phones as they are not reliable enough.

This is exactly what I am, this phone is not Skype as far as I can tell and I’m happy about that.

The phone has a WiFi receiver very strong, it took many more points wifi around my house than any other device I have wifi.
; The installation was a bit complex, but in the end it was not too bad, just as VoIP has temrs confusion that seem to overlap each other to trim.
The call clarity is great, the headset is perhaps just a bit nasal but overall I rate this unit as being very good.
It shows signs of being a cheaper no name brand, the display flashes in the premises for some menu surfing, but it’s nothing really quite unusual. I wonder if if Wil last through the ages (haha). For what we wanted, fine. I will make 3 or 4 more that we cover all our needs and have a couple of spares waiting.
It’s a great size, I do not want not a nano phone anyway, and quite light.
I use it with callcentric and it works very well.

Well, I was looking for the absolute cheapest WiFi VoIP phone on the net and I think I’ve found it.
It works as it says it does and connected to my wireless LAN WEP without any problems. Does it support WPA2? NO!
He has a web interface into the phone that I could have access, but could not change the settings (which was the point of having access to Web upon him) should therefore make all the configuration via the phone keyboard that was annoying, but it could still be done this way. I think it does not support the browser (I tried a few) and / or it was because I am using Windows 7.
It has an address book that is useful, but can not sync to my PC for one reason or another, it should be possible.
Phone quality is however quiet. Talking about it is very hard to be heard clearly (hard for me could be a normal volume of voice U.S. However, as I am a little more softly spoken …)< br />
The phone takes several seconds to respond when you press the answer button, not a problem once you remember to think before answering.
The battery does not last long at all, maybe 24 hours with minimal use, but if you talk for a few hours it will be either flat or nearly so.
One or Twice he disconnected while in a conversation with someone if it could be our SIP provider, difficult to say. . .
The phone also has “crashed” a few too demanding removal of the battery to be operational quickly, it could have been left for some time and can come to the right but thats not good if you need to make a phone call.
The cradle is pretty hard to insert correctly, I think it was inserted in charge, but the phone did not touch the terminals and never charged. very boring, but now I check her properly.
The range of the wifi has been good, have a good receiver placed Fi helps.
It was easy to run Java applications, but can not know how to load my own, probably through the web interface I can not go to work!
; I also find any info on this phone line, even on the manufacturers website there was nothing it seems!
Overall I would give of the 5 / 10, it works 90% of the time, but has its quirks.
I recommend if you’re tech savvy about not addressed issues random happens in certain circumstances (maybe once a week, he will do something stupid)

This phone seemed the ideal solution for a wireless VoIP phone, but unfortunately it did not support WPA. Seemed pretty cheap built, too.

This phone Alfa Wi-Fi has simple adjustments and works only in SIP services, not prepared to Skype and Skype does not SIP yet.

Although it works quite well with most SIP providers, it seems quite unstable, requiring a restart of the phone every day.
