What to consider when choosing a VoIP provider? Read our simple tips before making your decision.

The VoIP market is growing. There are many VoIP companies on the market these days, but professional reviews are very rare VoIP. Here are some simple tips to help you compare different VoIP service providers, before making your decision.

1) Price – Many people find the lowest price when choosing a VoIP provider. However, the price should never be your first priority. With fierce competition in the market today, the price difference between VoIP service providers is very low individual. You must consider other factors like service quality, customer support, service plan options etc. After all, what is the point to get the cheapest provider if you can not receive a phone call quality ?

2) Service – Search the quality and reliable service. The quality of VoIP service also depends on the speed of broadband connection. If you wish to use standalone VoIP providers like Vonage and Packet8, make sure you also have a broadband connection quality.

3) Customer Support – The VoIP provider should support a good customer hotline, 24 hours 7 days a week. If you encounter problems during installation or use of VoIP service, you can have someone to help you.

4) Satisfaction Guaranteed – Most VoIP companies require you to sign a one year contract. It is best to choose a company that provides satisfaction guarantee or free trial. If you do not like their service, you can terminate it within 30 days without having to pay a penalty.

5) The size of companies – Large companies are often better managed and have more sophisticated equipment and more facilities than smaller companies.

6) Service Plans – Some plans provide unlimited local and long distance, some even provide unlimited calls international cities worldwide. If you use the VoIP phone as a secondary phone line, you can subscribe to certain basic schemes which give you limited calling minutes at a low monthly fee. Choose a plan that is best suited to your needs.

7) local codes – Find a VoIP provider that can offer a region code. Otherwise, your friends who live in your area will be charged for long distance calls when they call you using an analog phone. However, if most of your friends and relatives live in another area, you can also choose an area code for that region, so they will be charged for local calls when they call you.

Other features – Call forwarding, voicemail, call waiting, conference calling, caller ID, call screening all bonuses are very helpful. Many VoIP providers offer these services free.

9) E911 – Make sure the VoIP provider offers E911 (Enhanced 911), which allows for personal information such as your name and address to give to local dispatch center automatically in case of emergency.

10) User reviews – read customer reviews online as a reference. However, keep in mind that these comments may be contaminated and the quality of VoIP is affected by other factors such as the broadband connection. If in doubt, call the companies VoIP to express your concern and seek clarification. </ P>

Although not absolutely necessary, a broadband Internet connection is what makes your Internet phone calls reliable and understandable. VoIP uses a traffic engineering term called Quality of Service (QoS) refers to the implementation of controls to ensure that delay sensitive IP packets are given priority as they flow through the pipe. To abandon these controls would result in acoustic problems like jitter and echo, and calls abandoned. Because a broadband pipe is much larger than a dial-up, there is much more throughput capacity, or space, so we can prioritize.

There are essentially three ways for consumers to get a residential broadband Internet connection. From your cable TV provider, your phone company or broadband wireless such as Clearwire, a wireless hotspot, or even a cellular network like Verizon or Cingular. With these options become more widely available, using the Internet to route phone calls has also become a viable and cost-saving alternative to traditional fixed line telephony. Now the question becomes, what type of broadband service is best suited for voice over Internet Protocol.

Since the advent of cable TV, cable companies have greatly contributed to the development of worlds Wide Area Networks (WAN), adding broadband Internet to their list of services offered. Indeed, with the development of VoIP, they have even blurred the lines of the telecommunications industry. The modem cable, coaxial cable and pipe, opened the Internet in the jets with an Internet service at the speed of light.

A cable company WAN includes areas related to nodes, each node having its allotted amount of bandwidth. The cable pipe is about the greater will be required for a residential customer and is large enough for many the clearer VoIP calls. However, as the district grows and more people who connect to the pipe, the less bandwidth is available for each household. Cable companies are generally very good on the distribution of bandwidth and add more nodes if necessary. Their network is, after all, their bread and butter. Just be aware that at peak hours, the VoIP call quality can degrade.

The Digital Subscriber Line or DSL is the solution for residential broadband offered by traditional telephone companies like AT & T, the regional Bells and other communications as Quest for example. For years, telecom had the upper hand in business, connect their networks to the outside world via a T1 line, which is the equivalent bandwidth wise to a cable modem. DSL is a bit slower than a cable modem, and in fact, in some communities is available in two speeds. It also tends to be a bit cheaper. Nevertheless, it still has enough bandwidth to successfully implement VoIP.

DSL is not affected by the saturation of cable networks as a node, but it is distance. The longer you’re away from your telephone company switching station, regional, signal degradation over you, and the maximum distance is 18,000 feet. Telcos and can not use remote switching stations to extend their services where they see a market opportunity.

The fatal flaw of DSL when considering the use of VoIP is that most companies require you to subscribe to their traditional phone service as well. Naked DSL, unbundled broadband and telephone services, is possible and is offered by only a few local phone companies. Perhaps because of the cable crawling on their territory, and the slow but steady acceptance of VoIP in the general population, the telcos seem to think they need the money wherever they can.

In January of 07, the Senate restored the Internet Freedom Preservation Act. One provision required is that all providers of broadband services to offer consumers independent broadband service. If this bill passes Net neutrality, DSL could be a viable option for those who want to switch to VoIP.

Wireless networks also provide sufficient bandwidth for VoIP, and their value is more appreciated in the life of the Road Warrior. People who constantly travel, weather for business or pleasure, find Wi-Fi hotspots are popping up everywhere. Most modern hotels have their own wireless network, and Internet cafes are becoming an international phenomenon. Travelers who find an access point have the option to use their laptop and a headset to communicate over the Internet, or use one of many Internet phones available on the market today.

The metropolitan wireless broadband are also proliferating nationwide. Clearwire Wireless Broadband is a company that uses a combination of non-line of site (NLOS) and its own proprietary technology to cover entire cities, even regions of the country. What is known however that this technology has been greeted with mixed reviews.

If you’ve recently visited a college campus, you’ve probably noticed tiny antennae stood on the roof every few meters. Campus now have their own Wi-Fi, allowing students, faculty and administrators to make VoIP phone calls via their laptop or internet phone, from anywhere on campus.

Cellular networks built by companies like Verizon, Sprint and Cingular, have proliferated around the world and even cover the most developed areas of population. Mobile phones have been introduced by Nokia, Samsung, and more recently Apple’s iPhone, which are able to pass (in some cases, seamlessly) from a cellular network to a Wi-Fi hotspot and back. However, it is the corporations that control cellular airwaves.

Cingular Wireless (soon to AT & T Wireless) already uses quad-band phones and Wi-Fi support, and will support for the Apple iPhone as expected. While cellular networks appear to have been dragging their feet on implementing the full support of VoIP for the consumer, there are technical issues to consider, and how they benefit from technology.

Once the pipe of broadband has been decided, there is still the question of choosing a VoIP service provider. Cable companies, telcos, and more cellular phone companies all offer their own VoIP service for consumers, and that their service is on their own networks, they are well positioned to meet the quality service.

You are not, however, the obligation to use your service to broadband as your VoIP service provider. Pure play VoIP providers, companies that offer VoIP services have increased in number and could be considered responsible for the low rates associated with VoIP. Vonage, with approximately 53% of the residential VoIP market, is a pioneer in the industry that offers calling plans as low as $ 15 per month. SunRocket, Packet8, and peer to peer VoIP company Skype has plans call for even less. Telco and Cable plans other hand, are related to cost more, starting at about $ 35 or $ 40.

Whatever VoIP service provider you choose, and for some reason, the most important factor in determining the call quality is the quality of leadership. To test your VoIP connection aptitude to query keywords VoIP Test “on your favorite search <moteur / P>

Choosing a VoIP Service Provider for Residential Internet Phone Service </ strong> </ p> Once you’ve decided to switch from traditional phone service land-line service Internet telephony to save money, Visit here </ strong> <a rel = "nofollow" onclick = "javascript: pageTracker. _trackPageview ('/ outgoing / article_exit_link');" href = "http : / / vonagevoipcalls. blogspot. http://vonagevoipcalls com> “. blogspot. com </ a> </ p> You must decide what kind of plan to get VoIP. Each VoIP provider offers a choice of calling plans, depending on your needs. You have to choose between unlimited local and long distance, or a limited number of minutes per month. You may also need to consider the international long-distance calls, and whether or not you need the portability of a softphone with your VoIP residential service. </ P> Here are some points to consider when shopping for a map of residential VoIP: </ p> Do you want to call unlimited long distance? All VoIP providers offer an unlimited plan, which includes an unlimited amount of incoming and outgoing calls. VoIP Unlimited plan includes all long distance calls unless you want to do, usually in the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico. This is the most popular type of residential VoIP plan, and money is a real gain, especially if you make long distance calls. Unlimited Internet Phone Service plans typically cost between $ 20 and $ 40 per month, depending on the supplier. </ P> Do you want to maximize savings? Most people turn to VoIP to save money. Depending on what you currently pay for phone service and long distance calls, you should see a savings of about $ 500 per year. To achieve even greater savings ($ 100 plus or minus a year), you can choose a VoIP provider that offers an annual plan. It’s actually “prepaid” Internet phone service, and it generally costs around $ 199 per year (less than $ 17 per month) for unlimited local and long distance calls. The VoIP provider SunRocket built their business around an annual plan, and now there are few other companies offering VoIP as an annual plan. </ P> Do you need international calling rates

Cheap? If you plan to make international long distance calls, VoIP is definitely the way forward. VoIP providers offer some of the lowest international rates available. Rates vary according to whether the VoIP provider, according to the country you are calling. All providers of Internet telephony publish their international long distance rates on their websites to compare rates for the countries you call to find the best deal. </ P> Do you need portability SoftPhone? If you want to take your Internet phone service with you when you travel, to find a plan that offers VoIP telephony software for free. This is software that installs on your laptop, and you can make and receive calls via your VoIP service. A softphone is a very convenient for business travelers and vacationers and snowbirds. You can use your VoIP plan from anywhere, as long as you have access to a broadband Internet connection. Many companies charge for phone service software. Packet8 VoIP and. com are two suppliers include free. </ P> What type of features do you want? One of the great things about VoIP is that you get a ton of features for free, whatever plan you choose. All providers of Internet telephony to give you the basic features such as voicemail, call waiting, caller ID and call forwarding. If you want the ability to receive voice messages as attachments, or if you want to have calls forwarded to another number if no answer, to find a VoIP provider that offers these features are more developed. Unlike traditional telephone services, Internet telephony providers do not charge extra for all the bells and whistles “. </ P> Once you’ve determined what type of VoIP service plan you want, you’re ready to start looking for a supplier of Internet telephony service that can meet your needs. There are many good providers of VoIP services to use, but all offer slightly different plans, rates and features. Once you know what type of plan you like, it is fairly easy to compare the plans offered by different VoIP providers. Some suppliers are good to consider VoIP. com, Packet8, AT & T, SunRocket. Visit here </ strong> http:/ / vonagevoipcalls. blogspot. com </ a> </ p>

So you made the choice to go with an Internet telephony service. . . And now? Like most employees to purchase today, shopping online is a good idea. Where to start, though? Here are some keys to find, when deciding which service to go with VoIP.

 VoIP Key Features: </ b>

First, you want to be sure the provider you go with the offers key features that you know and love on your phone line at home. These include things like caller ID, calling, call blocking, etc.

 General VoIP </ b> < , br />
Once you are sure all the basics are covered, you go to look at some additional features that the Internet phone / b> offers company.

virtual numbers (DID) – They allow you to have more of a DID for your VoIP service. For example, you want to have a number of New York and one that appears local and Houston. This feature may not be for everyone, but it’s something to consider.

local number portability (LNP) – Another nice feature you want to check is whether the Internet Telephone enables you to bring your phone number with you if you decided to go with it.

Telemarketer blocking – we all hate getting calls from telemarketers. Some VoIP services provide a feature that recognizes these types of calls and hangs up on them before they do not speak of their height.

unlimited calls – If you have lots of friends and family and like to talk on the phone, you’ll want to look for a plan that includes unlimited calls. You’ll probably pay a little more monthly fees for this service, but if you chat on the phone a lot, you can save this way.

E911 Service – the 911 is a must if you do away with your landline. Pay attention to details of the plan you decide to go with and make sure you contact the authorities in case of an emergency. An improvement of 911 is able to save someone’s life.

available online before – If you lose your internet connection for any reason, you want to make sure your plan allows you to route VoIP calls to the other missed, the number Emergency Phone. While technology advances and fewer dropped calls, it is always good to know that you will not lose any calls if you lose your Internet service for any reason.

There are many other features you’ll want to consider when making your decision that Internet telephony provider to go with, but this should give you some ideas on what to look for when you’re shopping for VoIP. </ P>

Once you have decided to use VoIP for your Small Office Home Office, it is time to implement. You’re probably eager to move, finding a VoIP provider, and start saving money on phone calls. It’s a good idea, however, take some time to review some of the points on this checklist. This way, you can be sure that you choose a VoIP provider that suits you best, and best for your business.

Who are the best VoIP providers established?

VoIP technology is not new, as such, although the broadband phone is likely to become the way we do all the calls you want to be sure that your provider is reliable and experienced.

What is your existing broadband?

Make sure you know how to work your existing broadband. Is this cable (eg Virgin)? If yes, you can cancel your cable telephone line completely without affecting your broadband connection. If it is ADSL (for example, BT), however, you can not cancel your phone line, because you will lose your broadband connection, too. You can, if using a VoIP phone line as your second phone line that you could use to make your business calls.

Do you need a single line or two?

If you work from home or any time or part time, you may want to separate business from private telephone conversations, while a second, cheap VoIP phone line might make more sense, especially if your business is growth or may develop.

What characteristics help?

Is that your customers are able to lay hands on you when they need to? Make sure the VoIP provider offers features such as call transfers inclusive, calling, call return, do not disturb, call waiting or voicemail sent to your email address.

Call plans.

Think about what you need in terms of the company calls you make. Do you call the most numbers in the United Kingdom? Or do you need to call other European countries, or in large part to the U.S.? Watch the appeal of VoIP plans offer. Is there a good choice? Is he the one that suits you? Calls to mobiles included?

What exactly does ‘unlimited’ mean?

Make sure you understand exactly what the VoIP provider offers. If it says “unlimited”, does this mean that calls are truly limitless to the countries listed in your calling plan? Most VoIP providers will have a “fair usage policy”. In other words, they give you a generous allowance of free minutes, for example, 2000 (approximately 33 hours per month). What is the compensation for VoIP? Your SOHO likely to use more minutes than that? What you pay if that happens?

What you pay if you call outside the country of your plan?

Check what you will be charged if you call the countries outside the calling plan that you signed. VoIP generally offer very competitive rates, but it’s a good idea to check. If you think you can make regular calls to a country outside of a calling plan, there may be a good idea to see if there is another calling plan that includes that country.

What our customers say?

Try to find some customer feedback on the VoIP provider. Comments customers satisfied or dissatisfied, often tell you much about what you need to know about the society in terms of reliability of customer service, technical support, customer satisfaction, etc.

What are the costs?

As announced monthly calling plan, make sure you know exactly what you may have to pay for. The VoIP provider may, for example, charge a set-up or administrative fees, activation fees online cancellation fees. There may be fees for equipment, as well as some of them can be free.

Clearly website VoIP?

You do not want to root through a Web site to discover the hidden fees and fine print. A well written, professional, clear site, with all charges clearly defined, is a sign that the VoIP provider is committed to transparency professional.

What is the support like?

A telephone line is one of the most crucial elements of any SOHO. So it’s a good idea to ensure that the VoIP provider offers technical support and 24 / 7 customer service. Can you still get your hands on someone if you need to? Did you pay for it?

What add-ons provide?

If or when your business starts to grow, you can adjust your VoIP system accordingly? To determine if the VoIP provider offers add-ons like a second telephone line, fax line, or the ability to make calls from your laptop.

Can you keep your number?

If you are new in business, it may be useful for a number of brand new business. But if customers already use your landline number, you can keep it. Make sure the VoIP provider offers the possibility of “porting” your existing number to your new VoIP phone operator.

Can you choose a dial code?

You may want a VoIP phone number that is local to you. Or you may want one that is local to your customers. Anyway, what VoIP offers in terms of choice of dialing codes, and verify that the code you want is available.

What is the urgency?

A final important consideration is to think about how your business could face if your broadband connection has fallen. If this happens, and your VoIP phone is temporarily out of action, you must make sure you have a backup plan (like a mobile), particularly in cases of critical business calls or even calls for emergency services.

Once you’ve been through this checklist, you must be ready to choose your VoIP provider. It should not take long for your VoIP phone line set up, and then you’re ready to start saving money by using your broadband to make and receive business calls. </ P>

As technologies mature and more households have access to high speed Internet, consumers are realizing that it is simply more efficient and cost effective to send packets of voice over the Internet as a point to other circuit switched land line. Long distance charges become a thing of the past, and international calls are pennies a minute if not free of certain countries.VoIP Solutions are easily accessible to anyone with a broadband Internet connection, and the only equipment needed is an analog telephone adapter (ATA) and a telephone. For most consumers, using a calling plan from a VoIP service provider is the best solution. Most VoIP providers will provide material assistance (or software) for free, and monthly fees range from free on-site.Peer-to-peer VoIPThe cheapest solution would be VoIP using a computer on a peer to peer network. Available from VoIP providers such as Skype or Gizmo Project, the software is free to download and calls around the world within the network are free. Calls to PSTN numbers are charged at a low rate VoIP. Peer-to-peer VoIP is a software solution, meaning that no ATA is required, and your phone is a pair of earplugs and a microphone plugged into your computer. The disadvantage is that call quality is lacking compared to some VoIP hardware solutions available. The Pure Play “VoIP Service ProviderIn recent years a new generation of upstarts have come in the residential VoIP arena. Probably the most successful (at least the popularity of shows) would be the service provider Vonage VoIP. Thank you to their lavish spending on advertising, technology, VoIP is more common, and the general public begins to realize that if circumstances permit, Voice over IP can be a viable economic alternative to Plain Old Telephone System (POTS).Vonage, Packet8, and SunRocket are just some of the many companies that are pure-play VoIP providers. They have no interest in selling you the TV cable, telephone service, cellular or minutes. Monthly plans range from $ 7. $ 00 to 40. 00 and calls are free in the U.S., Canada and in some cases in Europe. International rates vary with many countries as low as 2-3 cents per minute. These are the companies that pioneered VoIP for residential consumers and their calling plans monthly low, companies will keep the giants of the telecommunications industry honest.Telco as VoIP service providersJust as deregulation and the advent of cellular technology in the past, VoIP is poised to revolutionize the telecommunications industry. And the big telephone companies, even the cell phone companies are entering this new era Kicking and Screaming.Telco’s like AT & T, the Regional Bells and others are happy to offer broadband Internet access via DSL, but very few are willing to unbundle Internet service from their traditional phone services. They could do this technology, and some local telephone companies offer DSL on the “local loop”, without the son with the tone. The fact is, having a broadband connection that requires you to also purchase a standard telephone connection, almost counterproductive, making VoIP calls via ADSL impractical for most people. However, telecommunications companies see the writing on the wall and slowly begin to implement IP telephony. AT & T and Quest Communications offers residential VoIP solutions from $ 25. 00 and $ 30. 00, respectively, just slightly higher than a VoIP service provider pure. All basic features such as call forwarding, speed dialing, and 3-way calling are included and premium services such as virtual phone numbers, conference calling and call filtering can be obtained additional fee. International rates appear to be slightly higher than the rate of pure play, but only by a few cents.VoIP and CableIf someone is able to win wars telecommunications, it is the cable companies. Large-scale consolidation in the cable industry has led to huge private networks that in many cases make it unnecessary to route calls over the public Internet. Questions of quality of service can be handled in house, and after all, companies like Cisco Systems or less built the Internet and are largely responsible for the development of Voice over IP Telephony. The cable companies as providers of VoIP services have the ability to bundle voice with high speed data and digital cable television, and even running now offers to launch all three for 99. 00 per month in some markets. But beware, introductory offers end and VoIP plans with the cable companies are among the most expensive to have.Even if the VoIP service providers like Comcast and Time Warner generally receive good reviews for sound quality, calling plans cost $ 40 monthly. 00 and $ 45. 00. Not bad when you look at a $ 70. 00 phone bill from Bell South, but more than twice as much as a pure play VoIP service provider. Without doubt, a good reliable connection to broadband via cable modem is the ideal VoIP (wireless notwithstanding), but you should not use your cable for VoIP.Ultimately, it all depends on whats important to you. If you only need to call a friend in China on the same network, then a peer to peer VoIP service provider is for you. If you live in an area where it is offered, a VoIP solution Telecom promises lower bills for their traditional connections, provided you can remove the land line. For those with cable modems, choosing VoIP providers is vast. For the monthly cost of other broadband connection, cable companies will come out to install the equipment and ReWire every shot of your home. And they are just a call for service immediately. Otherwise, the pure play VoIP providers offer the lowest rates around, and the quality is usually just as good.Just remember, everything is in the pipe. The call will also be clear that the network of your VoIP service providers is no congestion.

There are a lot of buzz around VoIP phone Internet service. On the consumer side, everyone is getting a lot of exposure to advertising and Vonage offers “triple play” of cable companies. From a technology perspective, VoIP is now much more mature than in its nascent days when Internet telephony meant a hoarse voice conversations on two computers. Considering that VoIP has been used by telecom operators to carry voice traffic over long portions of their networks for years, it is now well positioned to become the standard technology used for voice traffic on the last mile of the house each consumer. An increased penetration of broadband and advances in VoIP technology make this possible, and now there is a long line of VoIP providers out there looking for a piece of the action. They range from giants like Verizon and Comcast unknown number of relatively weak. For the first time in the history of telecommunications, it is possible to be a phone provider without barriers huge capital required for switches and Network Operations Centers (NOCs). ) Neither the regulatory barrier to be a Local Exchange Carrier. Same thing for the industry is marked by many small players agile? What is the probability of survival for small providers of consumer VoIP services? Companies Cable Television has a strong position in the telephony market. They have already built a large customer base. They also have a local presence, with field installers regularly driving around neighborhoods and locations of customer service in all cities where they have a franchise. Having installers field is a great advantage because they can install the VoIP service and also hook up the wiring inside if the service experience is no different than before. Therefore, a person need not be the least technically inclined to adopt the service, opening the market to the masses. The pure-plays like Vonage can not reach the mass market as cela.Les cable companies also have enormous reputation in their markets. What is also potentially important is perceived as a utility company and people are used to obtain telephone service for this type of entity. There is a familiarity and comfort level to go to a utility company for service téléphonique.Ils also have tremendous strength in both billing and customer service. While some may hate the cable company because they have long time windows for presenting to a facility until the issue of late May, May and you keep waiting at the call center, cable companies are really very good at managing the complexity of their operations. For example, the MRC took a few years ago, the market as a supplier of spare cable in believing that they could benefit do not like people of the service record of cable companies and do better, but rather they finally realize how complex it is and it was worse. If a company wants to scale as a leading provider of VoIP, they have to manage the complexity of billing and customer service. The cable companies have been in this direction déjà.Voici what could be the most important factor of why the cable companies will be most successful in the VoIP and ruin the chances of participants from other smaller – they allow broadband connection. Since it is necessary for VoIP, the incumbent has the money first on the provision of voice services. In addition, as broadband connections have high margins and VoIP has low margins, providers of broadband services could not handle the voice service as a loss leader to get and keep customers on their connections broadband. NetZero, for example, is giving away phone numbers free and low cost VoIP services without doubt with the hope of signing on users to their ISP. Voice service could indeed become so commonplace that it will subsequently with a broadband service for e-mail as it currently is. If this becomes a reality, there would be little market opportunities and prospects bleak for the survival of small “pure play” VoIP providers unless they could offer a value proposition différenciée.The Local Phone Company also shares many of the same advantages as the cables in that they have strong brands, ability to bill effectively, established customer service and field technicians. They should also provide the greatest level of comfort for people to provide telephone service. However, telephone companies have dismal showing compared to cable companies that have the largest number of VoIP subscribers. Verizon VoiceWing and AT & T CallVantage each have only 5. 5% of the 2. 9 million pure-play VoIP subscribers (Telephia Q2 2006). These 320k subs are overshadowed by cable operators like Time Warner Cable, which had only 1. 6 million VoIP customers in October 2006. Why the phone companies had such dismal results? Situations of internal conflicts between the pots and VoIP is a reason. They can not focus on a product with low margin VoIP in their basic package and have struggled to create an effective strategy for products bundled with advanced services. They are also spending more internal resources and focus on job better than DSL broadband and is trying to break into video services. Nevertheless, they still hold the second and third in the share of pure-play VoIP subscribers and have deep pockets, allowing them to spend far more than a small VoIP provider for Mindshare.Vonage with 53. 9% of the 2. 9 million pure-play VoIP subscribers, spending lots of money to get mindshare and customers. It’s a good thing in that it raises awareness of the product category that allows a set of small pure. However, it also presents a huge challenge for small providers to compete directly for customers when a supplier has a unique voice dominante.Il are a number of challenges facing smaller VoIP provider. Smaller suppliers are competing for share of voice against companies that spend lots of money. Regarding the business case going, VoIP has relatively low margins and return on investment of marketing campaigns and generate brand awareness is a challenge. Yet, without spending any money on marketing, it is difficult to capture a clientèle.Il is then the challenge of market size. Pure-play vendors are local installers and technicians, thus limiting the market to those who have the savvy techniques to establish the service or the will to do so. If the target market is defined as persons who have the savvy technical set up VoIP on a home network, then this market is mainly composed of younger people. This group is increasing mobile based and has little use for a landline. Also, consider how the phone market overall change over the years. People at the university, now that will graduate over the next two years and Getting apartments are 100% based mobile and never had a landline. Thus the market for pure play VoIP will shrink as it grandit.Cependant, there is always an opportunity for smaller VoIP providers in this difficult market. The opportunity is to focus on niche markets and exploit specific advantages of VoIP that are particularly relevant to specific customer segments. In these segments, word of mouth advertising is a viable strategy if the service can meet a strong need. This solves the dilemma of investing in the media to build a strong brand and maintain better rentabilité.ReVoS Internet telephony is an example of a small VoIP provider by taking precisely this strategy. They focus on a niche segment of people who make many international calls. ReVoS offers VoIP service, which includes unlimited international calls to over 40 countries, including the standard product offering VoIP for $ 24. 95 per month. They have also developed a VoIP product that operates on a mobile phone that does not require a broadband connection. This contest is for people of international origin who, incidentally, have the greatest propensity to use mobile phones of any demographic in the U.S. This niche is logical since the achievement of long-distance call is an inherent strength VoIP networks. As these customer groups are more easily achieved through a niche strategy and will not be mass market strategies. This market is mainly composed of people living in the United States who settled here from other countries. They are tight communities where word of mouth can grow and the value proposition is stronger when people save on the high cost of international calls. This is an example of how a small VoIP provider can compete against competitors much more formidable and gigantic as cable and Vonage.Toutefois, the future of the phone industry and the role that VoIP still needs to be fully defined and there are many uncertainties. There is a long list of unknowns, which include items such as Google to enter the votes and if Microsoft includes a softphone and VoIP as a standard part of their operating systems. Fixed Mobile Convergence (FMC) is another wild card technology that could change the shape of the competitive landscape. The overwhelming penetration of mobile telephony service and the ability of mobile operators to steal the spotlight with a range of FMC is real. This may be the competing technology that disrupts the OSM fee on VoIP. The question then becomes who lost greater range of products is 1) Broadband and VoIP or 2) to mobile and VoIP. Another thing to consider is how wireless VoIP (wVoIP) could change the competitive landscape of telephony and the ecosystem if the underlying municipal hotspots and / or WiMax décoller.Quoi the future catches, economies of ‘phone industry are likely to place a small number of large carriers in the control of the majority of the market. People want simplicity in their lives and the winners will be those that provide the most complete solutions to their communications needs basic people. For smaller VoIP providers to survive and make profits, they need to meet strong niche that get overlooked by the strategy of mass adoption, have a well defined and differentiated value proposition (recall problem ESPN Mobile), operations effective cost control and low margins, low churn, to compensate for limited income total income per subscriber (ARPU) without a grand strategy of product delivered, and the possibility of advantage of viral marketing in target markets. With all this in place, there is a chance of survival for smaller VoIP providers.

RNK Telecom is a privately held company offering phone wholesale andresidential telecommunications services, including VoIP services. They ReVoS market, a product of Internet telephony by offering greater international appeal.
